What is EBLI?

April 21, 2024 By Jen Pelcyger

21 Apr

EBLI stands for Evidence Based Literacy Instruction. Jen Pelcyger is training to be an EBLI certified instructor. EBLI is a speech to text method to teaching reading, writing, and spelling. It also embeds vocabulary and fluency, especially helping kids blend sounds together to read the whole word. There are fewer rules for kids to learn and memorize. Much less of a cognitive load as compared to Orton Gillingham.

Here is a video that explains more about what EBLI is and how it is different from other methods.
